The Galaxy A33 5G has leaked again, this time on the Google Play Console. Unsurprisingly, the Galaxy A33 5G will succeed the Galaxy A32 5G, a smartphone that we reviewed last year. The Google Play Console appearance follows recent leaks of the Galaxy A23 and Galaxy A53, two other upcoming Galaxy A-series smartphones.
According to the Google Play Console, the Galaxy A33 5G has a Samsung S5E8825 SoC, the codename for the Exynos 1200. As the screenshot below shows, the Exynos 1200 has two ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores that peak at 2 GHz. Additionally, the SoC contains a Mali-G68 GPU that can reach 1 GHz. Moreover, the Galaxy A33 5G has 6 GB of RAM, although Samsung tends to release multiple memory configurations.
Unfortunately, the Google Play Console provides no details on how much storage the Galaxy A33 5G has. The listing confirms that the smartphone also has a 2,400 x 1,080-pixel display with a 450 DPI pixel density, though. Based on previous leaks, Samsung has equipped the Galaxy A33 5G with a 6.4-inch and AMOLED panel.
Furthermore, the Google Play Console mentions that the Galaxy A33 5G runs Android 12, or at least the One UI 4 version of it. It remains unclear when Samsung will launch the Galaxy A33 5G, renders of which OnLeaks leaked in November.
