New Delhi: Samsung has refreshed its Galaxy A series with the Galaxy A53 5G, Samsung Galaxy A33 5G. Both the devices were announced at the company's Galaxy A event; the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is the successor to the Galaxy A52 5G launched last year in March while the Galaxy A33 5G is the successor to the Galaxy A32 5G that was launched in last January. However, the launch date and details of these devices in India are yet to be revealed.
According to the company, the Galaxy A53 5G will debut in select markets starting April 1. The Galaxy A33 5G will be available starting April 22 in Awesome Black, Awesome Peach, Awesome Blue, and Awesome White colours. Alongside the two new Galaxy A-series models, the company has said it will make the Galaxy A73 5G available in select markets beginning April 22.

The price of the Galaxy A53 5G starts at 449 euros or roughly Rs 37,800 while the price of the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G starts at 369 euros or roughly Rs 31,000. Both the devices arrive in these configurations: 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configurations. The Galaxy A53 5G sports a 6.5-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device runs on Android 12 with Samsung's own One UI 4.1 on top. In terms of imaging, there is a quad rear camera setup led by a 64MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, a 12MP ultra-wide shooter, 5MP depth sensor along with a 5MP macro lens. For selfies, there is a 2MP selfie camera at the front with an f/2.2 lens.
Similar to the Galaxy A53 5G, the Samsung Galaxy A33 also runs on Android 12-based One UI 4.1. There is a slightly smaller 6.4-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U Display with a lower refresh rate of 90Hz. This device too has a quad camera setup led by a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP depth sensor and a 5MP macro camera. For selfies, the Galaxy A33 5G has a 13MP selfie sensor.
